OK... I finally managed to update this!! I find it much easier to type it on my phone vs. the computer!! Whenever I have a thought, I just jot it down on here!!
Anyways... Its December & Xmas is around the corner. Its the biggest capitalistic scheme in the world! On a holiday where you give from the heart b/c you want to just faded away. Long forgotten is the day where we celebrate the birth of Jesus & we focus on a fat man breaking & entering into ur house.
In this gift-giving holiday, we always hear it's the thought that counts when we all know no1 gives a fuck about a thought otherwise you would get just thoughts for Xmas. This year, I may not buy gifts b/c I'm allocating resources towards me moving & school, but that doesn't mean you won't get anything. Will you get that flat screen TV? Hell naw, I don't even own one yet. Will you get that perfume? Unlikely, unless I buy it from the dude @ the barbershop. Will you get latest & greatest video game? Nope, cuz chances are you won't be playin it in 6 months. Will my gifts be thought out? Definitely.
Am I being cheap? No, you are just too damn expensive & you talkin to sum1 who refuses to spend their monthly budget on gifts. Do I care what you get me? Not particularly, but as long as it is useful to ME. That's where the thought comes in. No need to buy me a gift that I find utterless useless (i.e. Maxi Pads). What do I want for Xmas? Tuition paid & sum bedroom furniture. Will I get it? Doubt it, but I had to put it out there in the universe lol.
With all that said, think about ur blessings @ the end of the year vs. how kind of gifts you are receiving. Because there's sum1 out there for all they want for Xmas is a warm meal & sum1 who cares.
